Hey, thanks for your interest.
it's actually really simple: i just picked a rather sharp shaped brush in photoshop and set its radius to around 1-3 pixel. then i just swing it around pretty much randomly because that's what hair usually does. to make it more realistic you need to repeat this process more often until you can see almost every single hair. but what i think is more important is the randomness of how the hair remains. always important to have a couple of hair going in opposite directions or step out of line a bit.
